This year’s Work Trial Scheme For Youths has been launched with the aim of giving young people the opportunity to experience the world of work with private entities or voluntary organisations.
The scheme which runs through August, is also aimed at helping young people between the ages of 16 and 20 in choosing their career and gain experience for the future.
Minister for Gozo and Planning Clint Camilleri, speaking at the launch, said that the scheme will run for five weeks between Monday, the 4th of August and Friday, the 5th of September.
Applications open today, Monday, the 30th of June and close at noon on Friday, the 4th of July.
