This coming Monday, the public will have the opportunity to show their appreciation towards the work of the Police in Gozo, during an event in commemoration of Police Day.
This special day is commemorated on the 12th of July, and this year marks the 211th anniversary.
In Gozo, there will be a ceremony in Ghajnsielem at the Parish Square, on Monday, the 14th of July.
Prior to the evening events, there will be a Mass celebrated at the Santa Marija cemetery chapel, followed by the blessing of Police graves and laying of flowers.
The commemoration events then get underway at 7.30pm.
There will be a Police Band Concert, and the evening will conclude with displays by the Precision Drill Team, as well as the Police Dogs Section.
