National Statistics Office figures released today show that registered full-time employment totalled 295,751 in April, an increase of 3.8% over April 2024.
Part-time as a primary job amounted to 35,292, an increase of 5.6% when compared to the same period last year.
The NSO noted that private sector full-time employment went up by 3.7% over a period of one year reaching 241,506.
Public sector full-time employment increased by 4.1% since April 2024, totalling 54,065.
As compared to April 2024, the NSO said that full-time employment for males went up by 3.4% amounting to 178,063, while that for females increased by 4.4% reaching 117,508.
