The Nationalist Party has said that the Labour Party has ”lost all credibility with Gozitans. After giving them a rusted vessel in 13 years, it is now promising them the impossible.
In a statement the PN said that ”yesterday, Robert Abela promised Gozitans that he will provide them with five vessels. A Government whose idea of better connectivity for Gozitans was a rusted vessel that nobody wants has no credibility left. And now, if you go on foot, you can board for free a vessel without a lift.”
”After the Labour Party completely neglected Gozitans for a full 13 years, it is now making unrealistic promises,” stated the PN
It noted that ”Nationalist Governments, in just a few years, provided Gozitans with three new vessels, which remain the largest investment ever made in connectivity between the two islands.”
It concluded by saying that ”a new Nationalist Government will deliver A Fresh Start for Gozitans and will once again invest seriously in connectivity between the two islands.”
