Next month, the 13th edition of the Gozo Ceramics Festival returns to the beautiful setting of Xlendi Bay.
Visitors will be able to watch master ceramic artists demonstrate their talents and skills in public, including sculpting, hand modelling and throwing on the potter’s wheel.
There will also be a free hands-on area for children to get their hands dirty, this is always one of the popular spots for families!
There will be a demonstration of raku firing on ceramic pieces, as well as musical entertainment during the evening, in fact a programme of activities for everyone to enjoy.
The Xlendi Administrative Committee will be illuminating the area with the magical fjakkolata, when hundreds of candles will be lit around the bay and on private balconies.
Entrance is free and everyone in invited to attend, on Saturday, the 1st of August from 6.30pm until 11pm.
Gozo Ceramics Festival is organised by the Ministry for Gozo, Munxar Local Council and the Cultural Heritage Directorate.
