The Munxar Local Council, in collaboration with Gozo Regional Council and the Heritage Malta Underwater Cultural Heritage Unit, is inviting the public to “Il-Bahar X’Ra,” an evening dedicated to celebrate the unique maritime heritage, culture, and traditions of Xlendi Bay.
This family event is taking place on Friday, the 7th of August, from 7.00pm onwards at Xlendi Bay in Gozo.
Visitors to the bay will be able to enjoy and unforgettable evening featuring live musical performances, a Virtual Reality experience of the UNESCO-listed underwater archaeological site at Xlendi, as well as local gastronomy.
There will be a large-screen documentary featuring stories of Xlendi’s maritime heritage
The organisers said that they ”look forward to welcoming you for an evening of entertainment, education, and community spirit while discovering the history, culture, and beauty that make Xlendi so special.”
