MaltaPost celebrated Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Day, which is commemorated annually on the 19th March, by taking two major initiatives. Members of management and staff from MaltaPost united by volunteering monthly cash donations from their salary. These donations were directed to The Community Chest Fund, Inspire Foundation, Puttinu Cares Foundation, Malta Hospice Movement and Dar tal-Povidenza. The other initiative consisted in carry out various manual works such as whitewashing, kitchen duties and cleaning at Dar tal-Providenza on Thursday 18th March 2010 whilst allocating the relevant funds of a vacation leave day to the same cause.
MaltaPost p.l.c. is committed to make a significant contribution to society we operate in, particularly to members who are considerably more vulnerable than others because of the difficult situations they grapple with. Our help as an organisation to various charitable causes has been consistent over the years.
