Unapologetic is a new outdoor photography exhibition by Ana Hastie, presented by LGBTI+ Gozo as part of the Gozo Pride 2026 – Pride Without Permission programme.
The exhibition opens this Friday, the 28th of August, at the Villa Rundle Gardens, Victoria, Gozo, at 7.30pm and will remain on display until the 12th of September.
LGBTI+ Gozo explained that through a series of intimate black-and-white portraits, Unapologetic explores queer lives, visibility, belonging and allyship within the particular context of Gozo.
The physical exhibition will be accompanied by an online edition launching on the LGBTI+ Gozo website on the 29th of August. The digital exhibition will allow the portraits and stories to reach audiences beyond Villa Rundle and Gozo, creating a lasting online space for the people and experiences represented in the project.
Prints from the exhibition may also be made available for sale, with a percentage of proceeds supporting LGBTI+ Gozo’s free counselling programme, helping the organisation continue to provide accessible support to members of the community, it said.
