Din l-Art Helwa National Trust for Malta has announced that it is hosting the second edition of the Inclusive European Heritage Residency from the 13th to the 19th of September.
Organised by Europa Nostra and INTO (the International National Trusts Organisation), this prestigious week-long programme will bring together around ten heritage professionals from across Europe to Malta to exchange best practices and explore strategies for building strong, resilient heritage organisations.
The Residency is designed for leaders of small and medium-sized heritage organisations and will focus on key challenges such as governance, financial sustainability, volunteer engagement and the effective management of heritage sites and natural environments.
As the host and key case study, Din l-Art Helwa said it will showcase how a grassroots volunteer group grew into Malta’s national trust, managing a diverse portfolio that includes coastal towers, historic gardens, a lighthouse, church, medieval chapels and natural landscapes.
The programme will feature a mix of case studies, practical workshops, site visits and peer-to-peer learning sessions.

This initiative is part of the Europa Nostra Heritage Agora project, co-funded by the Creative Europe Programme of the European Union.
