The Gozo Tourism Association (GTA) Executive Council, led by Chairman Paul Scicluna, recently met with the newly appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Gozo Regional Development Authority (GRDA), Mr. Juergen Attard.
During the meeting, the GTA delegation presented Mr. Attard with a study commissioned by the Association exploring how Gozo can be further developed and promoted as an eco-cultural destination.
The GTA explained that the study highlights opportunities to enhance the island’s sustainable tourism offering while preserving its cultural and natural heritage.
The discussion also covered a number of areas of mutual interest, including upcoming surveys, research initiatives, and potential collaborative projects that the GTA and GRDA could undertake to support Gozo’s regional and tourism development objectives.
The GTA said that the meeting served as an opportunity to strengthen cooperation between the two entities and reaffirm their shared commitment towards the sustainable development of Gozo.
On behalf of the Association, the GTA delegation extended its congratulations to Mr. Attard on his recent appointment and wished him every success in his new role.
