83 aspiring Police Constables from across Malta and Gozo have officially begun their journey at the Academy for Disciplined Forces, joining the 52nd Basic Training Course.
The Malta Police Force said that over the next year, they will undergo an intensive training programme, accredited and delivered in collaboration with the University of Malta.
The Police said that this new approach to police training combines academic learning with practical experience, including on-the-job placements, better preparing recruits for the realities and responsibilities of modern policing.
Meanwhile, members of the 51st Basic Training Course are currently making their final preparations for their upcoming Passing Out Parade in the coming weeks.
The Police wished both groups every success as they take important steps towards serving and protecting our communities.
