After a public request, Nature Trust (Malta) has said that it will be organising a Marine Biology Course during the months of July and August this year.
Participants require no prior knowledge of diving, although course caters for certified divers as well. A medical exam is conducted prior to diving. Individuals under 18 yrs can dive on presentation of a signed parental consent form.
They said that the course should be of interest to students following courses in Biology, Geography and Environmental Studies (O Level, A Level, University) operators in the tourism industry, public sector employees (e.g. MTA, MEPA, etc), journalists, and members of the public interested in Malta’s underwater heritage.
This will be a three lecture course and two practical sessions.
Course participants will receive:
(1) synoptic digital course notes (2) a certificate of attendance (3) a PADI-endorsed Discover Scuba Diving certificate (for beginner divers only)
