The Malta Union of Teachers has said that changes in break-times at MCAST are due to be implemented shortly.
The union said that no consultation whatsoever has been carried out with the them and they are against the unilateral decision taken by the authorities at MCAST.
The MUT said that it therefore had no other alternative but to declare a Trade Dispute and they had advised all Lecturing Staff whose work-schedule reflects a change in breaktime from last the scholastic year to contact the untion and to keep to the previous break-times until such time as proper discussions are held with the MUT.
