Dixon Promotions will be staging an Amateur, Semi-Pro and Professional Boxing show on saturday, the 18th of September, at Nikki Beach, (Exiles), in Sliema.
The company said that the show will feature the finest talent in Malta, there will be two amateur boxing bouts, featuring Steve Martin and Tylor Oliva and a Thai Boxing Display from Al Appollo Creed and his team.
The Maltese boxer Dione Galea will be boxing in a semi-pro contest against Africa’s Barrah Mustapha, in a six round fight, and top of the bill features Scotlands two-time World Champion ‘Super’ Scott Dixon v Marc ‘too cute’ smith from Wales in a ten round contest for the Mediterranean Super Middle-weight Championship.
Dixon and Smith met last met in 1997 where Dixon won on points and Smith has vowed revenge over Dixon. The promoters say that this will be a great fight.
Tickets are priced at €15 with two free drinks included or at €50 with a VIP 3-course meal following the fights.
