Edwin Vassallo, Chairman of the Standing Committee on Social Affairs, has said that any persons who have gone through, or are in cases of separation to write to the committee regarding the bureaucratic problems that have been encountered in the process.
The problems can be related to banking, schools, with the field of social services or benefits, with the Department Tax and other Government Departments, suc as the Housing Authority, but they must not be part of the process of the Family Court.
This process of Public Consultation will lead to the problems and difficulties being discussed with the Standing Committee on Social Affairs to the Heads of Departments or Authorities, in order to resolve them
The Standing Committee on Social Affairs will receive comments from the public until the end of January 2011, by post or via e-mail at the email address of the Committee socialaffairs.parliament @ gov. mt.
