Gozo Bishop Emeritus, Nikol Cauchi has suffered breathing problems overnight between Friday and Saturday and is once again receiving assistance to help him breathe
Mgr. Cauchi has been cared for at the intensive care unit at the Mater Dei Hospital in Malta since the 27th of October, after he was transferred from the Gozo General Hosptial. The Bishop was suffering from heart faliure and pneumonia.
The Bishop’s condition had shown great improvement, and he had been talking with visitors and staff on Friday.
