The Police have said that another 6 people were arrested in the early hours of this morning following a drugs find at a property in Gharb.
The drugs were found following a report to the police regarding a breach of the public peace at a residence in Gharb. When the police arrived they discovered that one of the group involved had discarded a plastic bag which contained an amount of drugs.
More drugs were found inside the property during the police search.
The group consisted of 2 men aged 21 and 29 from Ghaxaq and Marsaxlokk and 4 women, aged between 19 and 31, from Vittoriosa, Birkirkara, Gudja and Birzebbuga.
Other drug related arrests were also made in Gharb early yesterday morning.
