Inspire has launched it’s Ability Challenge 2011, a pioneering event where a group of mixed ability participants push themselves to the limit along a series of adventure trails and unique challenges.
This year’s event will take place in Ribera de Cardós in the spectacular Pyrenees Mountains in Spain from the 30th August – 6th September 2011.
This year’s activity includes:
• White water rafting Level II in the most legendary river of the Pyrenees: The Nogeurea Pallaresa River in the region of Pallars Sobira’.
• Canyoning, takes participants on an adventure through a river, crossing beautiful landscapes on foot, sliding through toboggans, diving and swimming in cavernous pools with crystal clear water, abseiling down waterfalls and spectacular cliff ridges.
• Paragliding in tandem from over 2000 metres surveying impressive views of the countryside below, characteristic of the region.
• Multi Activity crossing of the Guingueta Lake by Kayaks followed by cycling along the river bank.
• Trekking, orienteering and team building in the Natural park of Virós.
If you are an adrenaline junky, love the outdoors, have a strong sense of team building and are looking for a unique experience, then you should not miss out on Inspire’s 2011 Ability challenge. Through your participation you will also become ambassadors of an awareness exercise bringing to the fore the abilities, rather than disabilities, of persons with disability. The Ability Challenge proves to one and all that, irrespectively of your limitations, an inclusive environment, personal ambition and a positive attitude can enable you to achieve those objectives in life you never thought possible!
