The Gozo CCU Monitors Foundation held its 4th Concert Under the Stars last Sunday.
Nearly 200 guests attended this magical evening in the spectacular terrace gardens of Ta Frenc on the Marsalforn Road.
Guests enjoyed a sumptuous 5-course meal, with the evenings entertainment provided by Versatile Brass, who’s wonderful music compelled the guests to get to their feet and dance till late.
Dame Carmen Bellamy, Chairman of the Gozo CCU Foundation, thanked all present for their continued support, the Ta Frenc Executive Chef Mario Schembri, Joseph and the restaurant staff, all the businesses and individuals who made contributions to make the event such a great success. Special thanks went to Marsovin who sponsored the wines.

we attended and cannot agree with the “sumptuous meal” part,otherwise a lovely evening.

Surely people go to these events to support a very worthy cause, not to citicise the food they are served?
I was unfortunately unable to attend this particular event myself due to ill health, but by all accounts the food (and wine) was said to be up to it’s usual excellent standard.
I can’t remember who said it, but it seems quite appropriate:
“You can’t please all of the people all of the time”………..
