Melita Mobile said it is taking pre-orders for the newly released Apple® iPhone® 4S.
Melita said that the new iPhone boasts a new processor making it as fast as an iPad and an incredible voice recognition assistant which not only understands your voice but processes your voice commands and executes orders intelligently. iPhone 4S is expected to be the most sought after gadget this Christmas.

Pricing for Malta is still to be confirmed and will be dependent on Apple’s pricing for European distribution but a spokesperson for Melita said that, “Melita has always offered the most attractive prices for smartphones bundled with our pay monthly plans and we are committed to do the same with the new Apple iPhone 4S.” The spokesperson also added that “since Melita Mobile is a 3G operator it is technically best positioned to offer iPhone users the best mobile internet experience allowing customers to exploit the full advantage of the phone’s features.”
While the phone will be available in most of the EU as of the 28th of October, release dates for Malta are still to be confirmed. The company said that pre-orders will enable Melita to increase the opportunity of bringing the Malta release date closer to European launch.
Speaking at a San Franciso launch, Apple’s new CEO Tim Cook said, “iPhone 4S plus iOS 5 plus iCloud is a breakthrough combination that makes the iPhone 4S the best iPhone ever.”
Pre-Orders on day one for the iPhone 4s hit a record of 1 million units, beating the previous record held by the previous model iPhone 4.0 at 600,000.
