Despite a cloudy, damp and windy morning, the Gozo SPCA in Victoria had a bumper ‘Open Morning’ today, with visitors from almost the moment the doors opened.
This morning’s event coincided with the charity fair held on the adjacent football ground.
The Society volunteers chatted to visitors about the animals that are at the centre waiting for homes, as well as offer help and advice if it was needed.
New Society members were enrolled and the ever popular Gozo SPCA merchandise was much requested including the calendar and the famous dog bandanas. Dog indentification tags, which are now so important, were made as people waited.
