On the occasion of Christmas and New Year festivities, the Victory Philharmonic Society of Xaghra Gozo is organising an exhibition of a static crib.
The exhibition was inaugurated at the Band Club on Thursday 1st December 2011 and will remain open till Friday, the 6th of January 2012, Feast of the Epiphany of the Lord.
This crib was made by Mr. Ezechiel Grima, the Band Club’s director, together with other volunteers.
Entrance for this exhibition is free. The exhibition is open between Monday and Saturday: From 6.30pm till 11.00pm On Sundays: From 9.00am till noon and from 4.00pm till 11.00pm.
The Victory Philharmonic Society would also like to announce that on Christmas Day, Sunday 25th December, it will accompany the traditional procession with the statue of Baby Jesus organised by the MUSEUM Society (Xaghra). The procession leaves the Boys’ Museum at around 4.45pm and passes along San Gorg Preca Street, Parisot Street, Gnien Xibla Street and Victory Square before entering in the Basilica and Sanctuary of the Nativity of Our Lady where the annual Christmas programme is held.
