Police arrested a 31-year old Zebbug man following the discovery of a substance suspected to be cocaine.
The police statement said that on Thursday at approximately 10.30pm, information was received that a person was in possession of drugs at Triq il-Kappillan F. Debono in Marsalforn.
The police said that they then went to the area and stopped a man who, on seeing them, appeared to throw something to the ground.
The police statement concluded that following this they then searched his garage in Zebbug and found two packets which contained suspected cocaine and other drug related items.
