Following the this morning’s last minute discussions in Parliament on the no-confidence motion, a vote was taken and the motion proposed by the Labour Party last week, was defeated.
Franco Debono abstained in the confidence vote, however with a tie of 34 votes for and 34 against, it was decided by the Speaker’ casting vote against the motion.
