The Malta Resources Authority has launched a scheme aiming to encourage the use of systems for domestic use that reduce the consumption of energy or those systems that make use of renewable sources of energy.
The scheme was in line with the Budget 2011 and applies to roof thermal insulation material and double glazed windows or doors.
This scheme is regulated by Government Notice 409 of 2012. [1]
Part A [2] of the application for the grant which must be filled in by the Applicant PRIOR to the purchase of the technology and must be accompanied by the relevant Annex I and Annex II (detailed quotation from supplier) to part A.
Part B [3] is the request for reimbursement which must be completed by the Applicant AFTER the purchase (including payment, installation and commissioning of the equipment).
