Canada Day will be celebrated in Gozo for the 16th year in a row, by the Maltese Canadian Association (Gozo).
The Association is urging all returned Canada-migrants to participate in the annual commemorative activity which will be taking place on Sunday, July the 1st.
In the morning at 9am there will be a Flag Raising Ceremony at the Emigrants Memorial, Mgarr, Gozo. This will be followed by evening celebrations at Park il-Familja in Qala.
Entertainment for the whole family will get underway from 6.00pm onwards, with live music, face painting, a bouncy castle, balloon modeling and children’s pony rides (from 6pm to 8pm).
There will also be a BBQ for everyone to enjoy. Ticket prices are adults €13 and children under 12 years, €5.
