Summer demolition & excavation work to stop in some areas

The Malta Environment and Planning Authority (MEPA), the Malta Tourism Authority (MTA) and the Ministry for Resources and Rural Affairs (MRRA) said that it has notified councils that in order to mitigate the nuisance of construction sites during the summer period

The time period specified by MEPA is between the 15th of June and the 30th of September 2012, during which there is to be no demolition or excavation works allowed to be carried out in certain areas of the islands.

In GOZO no demolition or excavation works will be allowed to be carried out in the following localities and streets:
