The Gozo CCU Foundation is once again organising its annual ‘Summer Sizzler BBQ’ around the pool of the Cornucopia Hotel in Xaghra.
There will be a comprehensive BBQ for everyone to enjoy, which will include a suckling pig, free flowing house wine and water. All of this is included in the price of €28 per person.
This will be a fun evening and a great chance to enjoy the last part of the summer outside in pleasant surroundings, whilst helping a very worthy cause.
Entertainment during the evening is by Penny Dix and Kevin McGowan.
Everyone is warmly invited to attend this ‘Summer Sizzler’ night, on Saturday, the 25th of August starting at 7.00pm. Dress is casual.

Screens for the beds in the CCU and Renal Ward

A second full replacement mattress with pump

Although I don’t think I will be in Gozo when the Gozo CCU Foundation Summer Sizzler Event takes place, 25 Aug12, I would like to express my wholehearted support: for this excellent organisation; for its many supporters and hard-working organisers; for their ability together, to produce yet another marvellous social occasion for the benefit of the entire Ghawdex community.

Thank you very much for your kind comments and support for The Gozo CCU Foundation.
We are really proud that our efforts to date have resulted in a fully equipped CCU / ITU . We have also purchased equipment for the ECG Department and the Accident and Emergency Department.
Our aim has always been and will always be to supply equipment that will save lives on this lovely island. Continued support from everyone will help us achieve this and we are truly grateful to all who attend our functions, make donations and raise funds for the Foundation.
As long as we live on the island or visit, we may all need the services of the Hospital at some time or other.
