An exhibition of some of the best works by Emvin Cremona and Willie Apap, Malta’s two pioneers of modern art was inaugurated on Sunday at the St Joseph Band Club in Ghajnsielem..
The theme of the exhibition is ‘Sacred Arts’ and several pieces from private collections are on display, making it a chance for the public to view and appreciate some of the best contemporary Maltese art of the twentieth century.
The exhibition is being sponsored by the Minister for Gozo, Giovanna Debono, Parliament Member Dr Anton Refalo and the Ghajnsielem Local Council.
The exhibition, which was officially opened to the public by the Minister for Gozo, Giovanna Debono, will be open every day until Sunday, the 26th of August from 2.00pm till 10.00pm at St Joseph Band Club, Our Lady of Loreto Square, in Ghajnsielem.
Entrance to the exhibition is free and everyone is welcome to attend.
