A Volkswagen Passat was involved in a collision with a Volkswagen Golf in Capuchin’s street Victoria earlier this afternoon. A 38-year old female passenger in the Golf was seriously injured in the accident.
The Passat was driven by a 53-year old man from Nadur and the Golf was driven by a 40-year old man from Qala. As well as the female passenger in the Golf, there was a 13-year old girl and a boy aged 9.
All five were taken by ambulance to Gozo General Hospital.
Full investigations are underway.
