This Friday evening, a twinning agreement will take place between the two cities of Victoria, Gozo and Goro (Ferrara – Emilia Romagna – Italy). The Mayor of Victoria, Dr Samuel Azzopardi, on behalf of the citizens of Victoria will be signing the twinning agreement with Mayor Diego Viviani on behalf of the citizens of Goro (Ferrara – Emilia Romagna – Italy).
The twinning event is to take place within a wider, partially EU funded project, related to active ageing and solidarity between generations.
The Mayor and Council of Victoria invite everyone to witness this act, which will be held at at the Banca Giuratale in Independence Square Victoria, starting at 6pm. There will be a number of events taking place in Victoria between the 4th and 7th October as part of the celebration.
