Get-together by students of Sir Michelangelo Refalo – Centre for Further Studies
A group of students who are studying at Sir Michelangelo Refalo – Centre for Further Studies, in Victoria, met together to show solidariety with one of their friends, Antonella Borg who lost her mother Doreen, a few weeks ago.
These students are all doing a ‘Systems of Knowledge’ project, as part of their studies, at Dar Guzeppa Debono.
The activity started by celebrating a Mass by Fr Michael Curmi, at St Paul’s Shipwreck Church, Marsalforn, as a prayer for Antonella’s late mother. Afterwards, they barbecued together in the limits of Ghar Qawqla.
During the evening, Ritianne Buhagiar – one of the students in group presented the sum of €303.50 to the Director of Dar Guzeppa Debono, Maria Attard.
This donation was the net profit collected during a carwash organised by Ritianne, earlier last month.
