Monsignor Joseph Gauci, as authorised by the Superior General of the Franciscan Sisters of the Heart of Jesus, has advised St George’s Parish that the General Postulator of the Cause for the Beatification of the Servant of God Mother Margerita De Brincat has sent an interesting message to the same Superior General which in Italian reads as follows…
Padre Gianni Califano, Postulatore.
Mgr Gauci continued to comment that this message from the Postulator residing at the Curia Generalizia of the Franciscan Minors in Rome shows that “this is a very delicate moment in the whole itinerary of Mother Margerita’s Beatification process and requests that all the members of the community and of the whole diocese to intensify moments of sincere prayer.”
Virginja De Brincat, co-foundress of the Franciscan Sisters of the Sacred Heart, was born in Kercem, Gozo, a century and a half ago and baptised at St George’s parish church in Victoria.
