Gozo FC’s Tracy Teuma is BOV Female Player of the Month

The Gozitian striker Tracy Teuma has been named BOV Female Player of the Month for January.

Tracy, who is also a member of the Women’s National Football Team under the helm of Pierre Brincat, topped the chart as a result of her impressive displays in the BOV Women’s Division One matches against Pembroke and Hamrun Spartans last month.

She scored all three goals in the 3-1 win over Pembroke and was also on target with a brace in the 4-0 victory against Hamrun.

Her incisive running and opportunistic scoring skills will certainly be needed if the Gozitans, currently sitting in fourth position, want to challenge the league’s pace-setting trio of Mosta, Birkirkara and Hibernians.

Jack Thewma, Manager Gozo Branch, presented the trophy to Ms Teuma.
