The University of Malta Campus was teeming with visitors for the forth day of Gozo Week hosted by the Gozo University Group. Whether to purchase local produce, observe the diverse exhibitions or chat with the executive members, students, lecturers, as well as politicians made sure to be present at the stands.
Natiionalist Party leader Dr. Laurence Gonzi, and later PL’s education spokesman Evarist Bartolo both visited the stands on Thursday and spent time chatting to members of GUG and some of the students visiting the stands.
The visitors showed avid interest in the current Gozo Week events and praised GUG’s work in promoting our Gozitan culture and the interests of the Goztian students.
The final day’s events on Friday include, apart from visitors to the stand, a performance by The Nobel, followed by the closing of Gozo Week on Campus. On Friday evening there will be a public debate at Circolo Gozitano in Victoria on the proposals of the political parties in light of the coming General Elections.
