The Gozo Tourism Association is at ITB Berlin 2013, which is said to be to world’s leading travel trade show. The stand gives a representation of the island, including local specialities of food and wine.
Baron group are also at ITB Berlin promoting Gozo and Baron Holiday homes. The company said that “this fair gives Baron group the perfect stage to showcase our farmhouses and the beautiful island of Gozo.”
The show opened on Wednesday, the 6th of March and closes tomorrow Sunday, the 10th of March. Parallel with the trade show, the ITB Berlin Convention, is the largest travel industry event of its kind in the world.
It is an international media event. In 2012 about 7,000 journalists attended the world’s largest trade show for the travel industry, of whom about 1,500 came from abroad. In addition to the industry’s leading trade magazines, business and travel journalists from 94 countries reported on the latest travel trends and products.
In 2012 there were 172,132 visitors and 113,006 trade visitors who attended the show.
