The Catholic Action Movement Gozo and the Diocesan Family Commission are organising a two-hour Conference, which will be delivered in Maltese, on Thursday, the 30th of May from 6pm.
“Fejn Sejra?” will offer the opportunity for an individual and collective reflection about women in our society, though points presented by Fr Noel Saliba and Dr Anna Vella.
After a short prayer session, sociologist Fr Saliba will speak about the present situation – also based on his experience as secondary school head and Archpriest. After a coffee break, university lecturer Dr Vella – as a mother and doctor involved in the voluntary sector – will offer suggestions for women in their role.
Then, young graduate Marsette Xerri will chair a discussion with free interventions from participants and the conclusion by Bishop Mario Grech.
All are invited for this innovative occasion at the John Paul II Family Institute (“Cana Centre”) in Fortunato Mizzi Street, Victoria.
Children will be supervised and there is no need for tickets or payments.
