The Kempinski Hotel San Lawrenz’ has announced the introduction of weekly cooking classses for children, to be held on Wednesdays for children, beginning this week at 11am
These courses are created to be instructive and fun, encouraging each child to participate by measuring, mixing and peeling ingredients and preparing recipes under the supervision of the Executive Chef, Daniel Debattista.
The idea is to get the children acquainted with ingredients by playing with them. They will enjoy making food with their hands and will enjoy eating their own creations as well. This series of children’s cooking classes are intended for kids between the ages of six and 12.
“The aim with these courses is to instill in children the desire to cook and to guarantee them a good relationship with food. Both curiosity and open- mindedness are essential in the kitchen and in life. Thus, around fun and simple recipes that can be reproduced at home, the hotel will awaken all the children’s senses,” the hotel said.
The hotel said that it will provide proper attire for the children.
