The enthusiasm of Fresher’s Week at the University Campus was still going strong on the second day, with the number of students visiting the many stands rivaling those of Monday.
The Gozo University Group members continued distributing merchandise, flyers and publications while entertaining and getting to know the students who dropped by the stand to register as members.
The start of this second day was marked by a visit by the Minister for Gozo Dr Anton Refalo, who showed his appreciation for the organisation’s work.
A subsequent visit by European Parliament candidate Stefano Mallia also proved encouraging and as always, the day at Fresher’s Week ended in good spirits for GUG.
