The Police have issued a warning this morning to motorists to exercise caution on the roads and avoid areas that are liable to flooding, as another storm passes across the Maltese islands.
Areas of Gozo were flooded yesterday, when a heavy storm hit the island in the afteroon. Xlendi was one of the worst affected.
Victoria in Gozo has experienced just over 13mm of rain since the storm first started this morning. Yesterday afternoon, 22mm of rain fell in Victoria in less than an hour, during another heavy storm.
