Air Malta has launched a special offer related to the carriage of diving equipment on its scheduled flights. Passengers travelling on the airline until the 31st March 2014 can download a special voucher from Air Malta’s website (www.airmalta.com [1]) and pay only €5 at the check-in counter for checking in personal diving equipment up to 32 kilos on presentation of this special voucher.
Commenting on this initiative Philip Saunders, Chief Commercial Officer of Air Malta said, “Malta is renowned for its world class dive sites and the special rate on diving equipment charge will allow our passengers the freedom to enjoy the various dive sites on the islands with their own equipment.”
the airline said that “with quality dive sites just a stone’s throw away from each other and with mild sea temperatures during winter, visitors to Malta will be spoilt for choice to explore a variety of underwater worlds in the heart of the Mediterranean.”
More information about the various shore and boat sites is available here www.visitmalta.com/en/dive-sites [2] and http://www.visitgozo.com/en/content/diving-180/ [3].
