The Victoria Local Council said that it will be introducing a new schedule for the collection of waste, starting from Monday, the 6th January of 2014, the collection days and time will be as follows:-
Organic Waste (black bag) on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday only. Recyclable Waste (grey/green bag) on Tuesdays only.
The Council said that the service will not be offered on Sundays, Good Friday, Feast of Santa Marija (15th August), Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
The collection start time has also changed to 7.00am, ending at appproximately 10.00am.

What about bones where and what rubbish collection would that be?

I think the idea of Gozo News.com is to keep us up to date with what is happening on the island and for people to make relevant, pertinent, interesting (and maybe controversial!) comments associated with those articles. I don’t think it is a forum to ask what to do with your discarded bones! Read the pamphlets that have been delivered to your home or consult your local council offices. This is not Facebook!
