Last Sunday it was a full house for the End of Year Concert by the Visitation Band of Gharb, which was hosted by the Kempinski Hotel in San Lawrenz
The band, which under the baton of Mro George Apap, presented the second edition of ‘Dreams of Vienna,’ featuring works by Johann Strauss with a variety of waltzes; marches and polkas – including Pizzicato Polka; Tristch Trastch Polka; The Blue Danube Waltz and The Radetzky March. 
The Ghaqda Muzikali Vizitazzjoni of Gharb, this year marked the tenth anniversary from its foundation with a number of events, including this end of year concert, which proved to be another great success.
The concert was held under the patronage of the Minister for Gozo Dr Anton Refalo.
