The Qala Local Council and Xewkija Local Council in collaboration with the Department of Social Security, are to start offering a customer care service in their locations.
The service was launched by the Minister for the Family and Social Solidarity Marie-Louise Colerio Preca, and the Minister for Gozo Dr Anton Refalo.
Four Gozo Local Councils are providing this service, as well as the main office in Victoria, at: Xewkija, Qala, Sannat and Xaghra.
Through this service, Gozitan residents will be able to:
§ Apply for any social security benefits;
§ Report changes in circumstances;
§ Apply for or renew the pink card;
§ Submit medical certificates and
§ Request any information related to social security.
The service at the Qala Local Council will be every Friday in the Library between eight in the morning and midday, while the Xewkija Local Council service will be every Tuesday at the same times.
