Air Malta flight KM103 from London Heathrow to Malta yesterday had to make a night stop in London due to technical reasons.
The airline said that the Malta bound passengers were offered hotel accommodation and will return to Malta today on other Air Malta services.
The aircraft is being repaired and is expected in Malta this afternoon.
As a consequence of this, an Air Malta flight to Manchester is expected to be delayed and will operate as follows:
A spokesman for the airline said that Air Malta gave utmost importance to the safety and well-being of its clients and crew and apologised to its clients for any inconvenience caused by circumstances beyond its control.
