Counting at Naxxar went on through the night for the European Parliament Elections.
The first count has been completed and Alfred Sant became the first candidate to be elected outright with 48,739 votes, the quota being 35,979.
Alfred Sant gave thanks to all those who trusted in him and said that he “would do everything possible to work for the interests of Malta and the Maltese families.”
