The annual general meeting of the Producers’ Organisations of Tomatoes for Processing took place in Gozo and Malta. Both meetings were held for farmers cultivating fresh tomatoes which are processed for Magro Brothers.
Both well attended meetings, were chaired by Dr Ian Stafrace. Parliamentary Secretary Roderick Galdes and Mr John Magro, were among those invited and addressed all farmers present. 
Other Ministry’s officials on the panel included Mr George Carbone, Dr Justin Zahra, Mr Noel Azzopardi and Head of Paying Agency Mr Sharlo Camilleri who also participated in the discussion and answered questions raised by various farmers.
Meetings ended with a reception for all present.
