The Labour Party has appointed newly elected MEP Dr Alfred Sant as head of its new delegation at the European Parliament in Brussels.
The Labour Party said in a statement today that his nomination was agreed unanimously by all members of the delegation.
The Party thanked outgoing MEPs for all their work especially Joseph Cuschieri, who had headed the delegation, but who failed to get re-elected.
