Starting this coming Wednesday, the Xaghra Historical Reenactment Organisation will be presenting ‘XAGHRATALE’ – a twenty-minute drama and dance show with special light and sound effects.
The shows will take place every Wednesday as from Wednesday, the 9th of July until the 27th of August and will be performed in Xaghra Square.
The audience will be transported back in time and venture with the village inhabitants during the Neolithic Age at Ggantija, the Great Siege of 1565, the plague and Second World War. “The story of this Gozitan place will enrich and enchant your stay on Calypso’s island.”
The show gets underway at 9.00pm and is free of charge, everyone is invited to attend these special weekly events.
