Yesterday, the 45 Malta Airport ALIVE 2014 Cycling Challenge for Cancer cyclists rode 140Km in fine sunny weather, starting from Vienna they travelled along bike friendly roads and cycle paths following the Danube river.
They eventually cycled through Slovakia into Hungary, to their overnight destination of Gyor.
There is no rest for the riders, even if it is Sunday and this morning the team set off at 8.00am on the next 140km, which may prove to be quite tricky. The route will take them from Gyor to Budapest covering uphills and downhills of over 1100m.
